About the Company

The client organization provides an interoperable cloud based video conferencing service that connects participants across a wide range of devices and conferencing platforms. It is headquartered in Silicon Valley, in the Santana Row district of San Jose, California.

Challenge

The organization’s primary application collects customer information and also acts a pass through system of their client’s meeting (sensitive data). It is imperative for the organization to protect from attackers and unwanted intruders. Additionally the organization must secure their critical asset – meeting application – as mandated by the regulations such as SOC2 and ISO 27001.

Our Service

Reflect Security performed web, mobile and thick client assessments of the client’s core application for all the major releases for a period of two year to ensure the existing application and newly developed modules were not released with any major or minor security vulnerabilities. For every assessment, Reflect provided a detailed report to the client which includes Executive summary, detailed report of identified security weaknesses and remediation recommendations. Reflect worked closely with BlueJeans development team and Internal security team doing this remediation process. Additionally Reflect helped the client in implementing ISO 27001 standards for their end to end operations.

Impact

As a result of continuous security assessments the client’s application, the security posture of the application has significantly improved (From 24 Critical Vulnerabilities on the first assessment to 3 Low security observation at the end of the engagement). Improved Security Posture.
